Autism Walk 2025: Community-Driven PR Campaign

When I joined Strong Beginnings, I saw right away that their annual Autism Walk had heart, but not enough eyes on it. For seven years, this amazing community event had been quietly doing its thing without much media attention or growth. I knew we could change that.

Standing Up Strong Beginnings Project Nonprofit

Strong Beginnings had been operating through its business arm, but the vision by the CEO/President was always bigger.

To grow our impact through the Autism Walk, secure donations, and bridge critical gaps in services, we needed a nonprofit structure.

Autism Walk 2025 – Operational Logistics & Safety Expansion

Doubling attendance at the Autism Walk meant more than just incresed attendance, it meant more moving parts, more risk, and a much greater need for strategic coordination. My role was to make sure all 1,000+ attendees were not only welcomed, but safely accomodated.

Scaling People & Processes for Clinical Services

When Strong Beginnings’ ABA Therapy Clinic began to grow rapidly, the goal wasn’t just how to retain and hire more staff, it was how to grow thoughtfully, sustainably, and in compliance with every clinical and operational standard.

I was brought in to develop the structures that would make sustainability and scalability possible.

Digital Infrastructure & Automation

Strong Beginnings was drowning in spreadsheets, scattered emails, and manual tracking systems. This chaos slowed operations, created data silos, and made leadership have to manually dig to find real-time insights.

Clarifying Stakeholder Messaging for the Arizona ESA Program

As a communications professional and a parent stakeholder in Arizona’s Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) program, I regularly engage with education-related policy updates and public announcements. In April 2025, the Arizona Department of Education issued a communication to parents regarding proposed changes to the ESA Parent Handbook. The email asked parents to pause feedback and avoid attending the upcoming board meeting, as the revisions were being postponed.

Website Development + Strategic Communications for The Strong Beginnings Project

I built the website for The Strong Beginnings Project from the ground up to  to a connection point online and to serve as a foundation for real communication, community engagement, and day-to-day operations.

From the start, I approached this with a long-term lens: How do we make it easy for people to understand what we do, get involved, and trust us? Every part of the site—structure, copy, forms, layout—was created to reflect the mission and support how we actually work behind the scenes.

This project was the foundation for building the organization’s overall communication and operational strategy from the inside out.
